EDEN KAI

Bio: Born in Japan in 1998 and currently residing in Honolulu, Hawaii, EDEN KAI grew up in a trilingual environment. He started taking rhythm classes at the age of 3 and joined a theater group at age 5, where he learned acting and dance, eventually appearing in TV shows and commercials as a child actor. At around 8 years old, he enrolled in ESP Musical Academy in Tokyo, where he began learning dance, vocals, and stage performance. At the age of 11, he released his first original song, "Sekai no Tomodachi" (Friends of the World), as a charity song. At 13, EDEN KAI started learning guitar, and by 14, he entered high school in Hawaii. At 16, in April 2015, he won the talent show "Brown Bags to Stardom 2015," where representatives from high schools across Hawaii compete. Notable past winners of this prestigious show include world-renowned artists such as Bruno Mars, Jake Shimabukuro, and Yuna Ito. Later that year, he released his debut guitar solo album Touch the Sky, which became a finalist for "Instrumental Album of the Year" at the 39th Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in 2016. Since then, he has gained attention through appearances on reality TV shows and various events.
