ATOM ON SPHERE have been turning heads since their start in 2011. Formed by KEN LLOYD (OBLIVION DUST / FAKE?), Shigeo (The SAMOS / ex.SBK), Keitaimo (WUJABINBIN / ikanimo / ex.BEAT CRUSADERS) and Makoto Sakurai (Dragon Ash), all four members have been key players in the Japanese music scene since the mid 90's with their respective bands and projects. As pioneers in alternative rock, pop, jazz and hip hop, the announcement of ATOM ON SPHERE caught many in the Japanese music scene off guard, and the release of their first album resulted in even more of a surprise as ATOM ON SPHERE's debut constituted of catchy, yet sophisticated songs layered with sounds, all fused tightly together with electro sass. A direction few had envisioned the band to take. Drawing heavy UK influence, while straying to sound like any of their other bands and projects, ATOM ON SPHERE's unique blend of electro beats and indie rock is truly the fruition of four musicians who have seen it all, done it all and are now just looking to have some fun as they continue to push the envelope.
