Charlie Nishio
While studying at Osaka University of Arts, he started his singing career at Kentos in Kobe. He has performed undercards for many neo-rockabilly bands such as Robert Gordon and Rockats before moving to Tokyo in 1993 and making his debut as the vocalist for Starry Eyes from Teichiku Go Cat Go. He returned to Osaka in 1996 after holding monthly country nights at Crocodile in Harajuku. In 2006, he opened SwingWeek, Japan's first Swingdance hall, in Shinmachi, Osaka, with the desire to convey the joy of men and women dancing facing each other and the splendor of holding hands while dancing. In 2012, she won the Finding Japanese Elvis. Since participating in the world competition held in Memphis, she has continued her singing activities with the theme of "Passing on the splendor of Elvis Presley to the next generation." On January 8, 2023 (Elvis' birthday), he will release his first solo major debut song "crazycat" in his 40th year as a singer. It is a rockabilly song that appeals to cat lovers all over the world.
