Clea Anaïs
Claire has toured in Canada, Japan, Europe, UK, USA and New Zealand. Session work with Richard Reed Parry's (Arcade Fire) Music for Heart and Breath project, participation in residencies at the Banff Centre, and recording with Claire includes Broken Social Scene, Dan Mangan, Session work spans a variety of genres, including sharing the stage with groups including members of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Cold Specks, City and Colour, and Of Montreal. Much of this occurred with Clea's collaborative band RALEIGH, which won Alternative Album of the Year at the 2018 YYC Music Awards. Her first two self-released singles each received 7,000 views on YouTube, and Hazy Days spent several weeks on CBC Radio 3's Top 10 playlist. Claire creates art that moves in interesting ways. There are vulnerable moments throughout, and these moments move you because they are a special combination of listenable, memory provoking, and new sensations.
