EIKO+ERIKO

PIANIST EIKO and ERIKO formed this unit in 2018 while studying at Berklee College of Music in the U.S.A. The unit consists of a piano player and a drummer. With a simple yet powerful composition of piano and drums, they create a sound that transcends the boundaries of classical, jazz, rock, and pop genres. Their first album "glitter" was released in November 2019. The band has performed at various events in Japan, including rock, jazz, and various other music genres. EIKO+ERIKO was nominated in the "Best Asian Creative Artist" category at the Golden Indie Music Awards (GIMA) 2021, Taiwan's premier indie music festival.
