HYNA
HYNA (pronounced "HEY-nah") is a singer/song-writer. She came to Tokyo in her third year of high school, when her self-written song was selected out of a group of 4000 songs in the "a-motion" artist audition held by the Avex Group and USEN. After that, she took voice training and dance lessons while giving energetic performances mostly in central Tokyo, while affiliated with a major production company. While there were discussions about her major debut with several record labels, she would not compromise on her pursuit of originality and so, in order to dig deeper into her own musical style, she decided to move forward without any formal affiliations. Her self-produced and hand distributed CD sold 10,000 copies. Finally, on June 15, 2011 she made her debut. Even prior to her debut, HYNA was noticed not only by famous producers in Japan, but also America and China. Her strong artistic musicality and authentic dancing were evaluated as "having appeal around the whole world" From her powerful dance performances to her jewel-like ballads, she is a world class entertainer that can perform multiple genres. Her debut single "TARATIKA" has been played over a million times on YouTube. Despite all that was going on, in 2012 she took a break from musical performances. She sought to improve herself during this hiatus and with international promotion in mind, she went to America to take voice and dance lessons. And then in 2018 she fully resumed her activities. With improved songs and performances the new version of HYNA began to address the World. In 2021, finally, HYNA's new album "Golden Dream" will be released. It was written and composed with the idea of being a song that supports the Tokyo Olympics. The powerful music video is a masterpiece. The lead single, "Golden Dream" overflows with dreams.
