Hiroyuki Kayou
He is originally from Chiba. He graduated from Tokyo College of Music and learned to play the trumpet under the late Mr. Kanaishi Yukio. After graduating he started work at Chiba City Toke Junior High School. He was in charge of the school brass band and led it to the National Convention. He also produced music for recording, organized concert tours and performed with a large number of artists in the TOKE CIVIC wind orchestra. He has recorded and released a large amount of titles including new songs and his CDs are admired and receive high commendation at home and abroad. He also actively participated as a musical director in an international exchange for the Agency of Cultural Affairs, in addition he has been invited to several foreign workshops. He has worked on ambitious programmes with Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, SIENA Wind Orchestra and the Air and Maritime Self- Defence Force Band. Nowadays, he achieves significant results as a writer, orchestrator, competition adjudicator and nationwide band advisor. He also conducts orchestras and is a chorus master. Furthermore, he teaches younger people at Tokyo Music Media Arts SHOBI, SHOBI University , Tokyo College of Music and Tokai University.
