Natsu Summer

Born in Ehime, currently living in Tokyo. Grew up listening to city pop and reggae since childhood, living by the sea. Produced by Cunimondo Takiguchi (Ryusenkei), he debuted as a city pop/reggae singer in 2016. She has released six albums and twelve singles. As a guest vocalist, he participated in the 35th anniversary album of lyricist Masayuki Ueno, N.U.D.E, a unit consisting of DJ EMMA and DJ SHIMOYAMA, and Natsu Summer & Early Summer, produced by DJ KAWASAKI. She has also performed as a DJ with Tatsuo Sunaga, Shuya Okino, Toshio Matsuura, MURO, DJ NORI, Hiroshi Kawabe, Tomoyuki Tanaka (FPM), Takeshi Kubota, and others. She has appeared on BBC Radio 6 Music, hosted by Gilles Peterson, with mixes and comments. Her clear, cool and natural singing voice is suitable for reggae meets city pop, making her a pioneer among today's city pop and reggae singers. Her single "Shiosai Sunset" released in 2020 has been played over 1.4 million times on Spotify and has become a super long-selling hit. In 2023, she will release collaborations with Takamiya Eiichi and CHINTAM's new project Five II Four, French band Funkindustry, and Tokimeki Records, as well as "THINK OF SUMMER" and other 7-inch records, "Natsu Summer & Dubsen" LP, and her first MIX CD "Endless Natsu Summer". In July 2024, she released new album "Orange Tsuushin".
