Shuuichi Kuwata Marveling Big Band

Born in Obihiro, Hokkaido on November 6, 1977. Won the Excellent Soloist Award at the Student Jazz Festival when he was in the light music club of Matsumoto Fukashi High School, as a saxophone player. Also won the Excellent Individual Award at the 5th Ota City University Jazz Festival when he was in Aoyama Gakuin University Royal Sounds Jazz Orchestra, as a concertmaster. He is the leader and saxophone player of "Shuichi Kuwata Marveling Big Band," in which all the songs are arranged by himself, as well as he is an active saxophone player both as a session musician and a tour support musician, besides, engage in big band instruction, lessons, etc. Concert recording participation history include Mitsuhiro Oikawa, Ringo Sheena, Yuki, Keisuke Kuwata, Aiko, Takeyoshi Sato, Superfly, Godiego, Smap, Masayuki Sakamoto, ARASHI, Maki Oguro, Yasuhisa Soga, Gospellers, Kishi, Toshiki Kadomatsu, Hiromi Go, Takahisa Masuda, NEWS, Momoiro Clover Z, Yoko Kanno Seatbelts, Masato Honda BB Station, Battle Jazz Big Band, etc.
