Taipei-based multi-artist Sogare, previously known as "728" until 2021, was born in Tokyo in 1998 and has been based in Taipei since 2017. His activities span a wide range, including the production of poetry collections, magazines, and films, and he also has numerous achievements as a music video director. He leads the collective Sunchoya in Taipei's Da'an district, focusing on delicate expressions in his creative work. In 2023, he made his commercial video debut as the director for the New Balance "NB Grey" project featuring Chen Bolin and Yoshiyuki Okuyama. That same year, he launched a collaborative project between Okinawa s Nami no Ue Festival and Taiwan s Neon Oasis Festival, establishing himself as a known producer. In January 2024, he released the EP HUELUI, produced in collaboration with Okinawa's RITTO and Taiwan's PiNkChAiN. In January 2024, he also appeared on After 6 Junction 2's "Taiwan Hip Hop Episode." In June 2024, he released the mostly freestyle album "Wang Pin Liu Freestyle" with prominent Taiwanese rappers Leo Wang and PiNkChAiN. As a music video director, he is known for his work with Julia Wu, Leo Wang, and ZENBO, among other leading Taiwanese musicians.
