TAQU ALITY
TAQU ALITY

Artist Profile

TAQU ALITYA singer-songwriter who is completely self-produced, from songwriting to recording, mixing, and mastering. Inspired by Western music from various eras, both old and new, his music is characterized by a street feel and retro feel created from Western-style, stylish tracks. His concept is "feeling like you've traveled abroad" and "Western music you can sing in Japanese." His clear voice and falsetto are attractive, and the high-pitched voice he uses at the peak points of each song increases the satisfaction of the listener. ----History---- Born December 3, 1996 in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture Since childhood, he has been familiar with music, having frequently gone to karaoke with his family. As he was an attention-seeking person, he vaguely dreamed of becoming a "star" in the future. When he was in high school, he often went to karaoke with friends and family acquaintances, but many people often told him that he should become a singer, and he began to think about becoming a professional. After graduating from high school at the age of 18, he was inspired to aim to become a professional, and began his activities. I taught myself how to sing and took part in many auditions and contests. I was close to success on several occasions, such as making it to the finals, winning the prefectural tournament, and receiving high marks from the judges, but I was always struggling with the results. Just when I felt that I had reached my limit in self-study, the sudden COVID-19 pandemic made me reexamine my life and decide to move to Tokyo. I attended various entertainment schools in Tokyo, Saitama, and Kanagawa, thoroughly building up my foundation and honing my skills. Until I was 25, I wanted to join a boy band, but gave up due to the age limit for application requirements. However, my path so far has made the "style of music I want to deliver" clear, and I decided to become a singer-songwriter. At the age of 26, I went from being a complete beginner in DTM composition to mastering the skills in a few months and writing songs on my own. On July 1, 2023, I made my debut with the release of "Unstoppable" in the same year. A year later, on July 12, 2024, she released her first album, "Take Me Higher," which included 19 all-original songs, and her momentum shows no sign of stopping. She's an artist to watch in the industry and we're looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
