Fukuoka-born R&B singer who began their career performing live at clubs, live houses, and shopping malls during their university days in their hometown. Upon graduating, they moved to Tokyo and continued their energetic live performances primarily in Shibuya and Roppongi clubs. In 2007, they obtained a working holiday visa and studied in Toronto, Canada. In April of the same year, they participated in Canadas largest audition show, Canadian Idol, where they advanced to the next round as the only Japanese contestant among international competitors. Recognizing their talent, they crossed paths with Toronto-based producer Ashley Ingram. Ingram, known both as a member of the successful trio Imagination, which scored million hits in the UK, and as a producer for artists like Mariah Carey, Destinys Child, Christina Aguilera, Debra Cox, Crystal Kay, and Chara in Japan. Their collaborative track One By One achieved initial success, debuting at number six on the indie artist-focused mobile ringtone site D-Style. The following year, they relocated to New York, USA, where they continued their career as both a singer and performer in clubs and live houses. In 2008 and 2009, they supported and performed at the outdoor Hip Hop, R&B, and Reggae festival Aya Higuma Benefit Save The Earth in Union Square Park, organized by reggae singer Aya Higuma. The event drew over 3000 attendees for two consecutive years and featured collaborations with major artists such as CL Smooth and Ranjini. From 2011 onwards, they expanded their activities to both the United States and Japan.
