COLTECO

Formed in 2013, COLTECO is a Fukuoka-based band led by SHOGO SATO, whose modern and stylish sound, influenced by dance music of the 80s and 90s, has been attracting attention from Asia and beyond. His first album "ALBUS" released in 2017 ranked in J-Wave TOKIO HOT 100, and his EP "WOOLONGCHAINOISE" released in 2020 ranked No.1 in the techno chart of Apple Music. Furthermore, it ranked in the charts of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and China. The follow-up release "IKASAMA STORY (SPACE DISCO REMIX)" reached #9 on the Hong Kong techno charts. He has also been involved in many unique activities connected with Japanese traditional culture, such as the official remix of Rentaro Taki's "The Moon of Arashiro" released by the Tourism and Tourism Association of Takeda City in Oita Prefecture, and live streaming from Mifuneyama Paradise in Takeo Onsen Hot Springs. In addition, SHOGO SATO's solo project, ORANCHA, has collaborated with British producer Star Slinger, and provided music for GGB BAND, a band project by brother dancers GOGO BROTHERS and their friends who are active around the world. From the album "LEMONADE" released in 2018, "Memory" is still a long hit.
