In 2013, members of the band "ELECTROPHONIC," which disbanded following the conclusion of DETROIT's legendary PUNK band "DOGS"'s Japan tour, came together to form our band, Dizzy Daze. The lineup includes OUCHI (formerly of AGGRO and Balladmen), SOU (now with Folllllk), as well as ex-SONIC GANG members TSUCHIDA and Yuki. While inheriting the DETROIT-to-Aussie punk sound represented by bands like MC5, SONIC'S RENDEZVOUS BAND, SONNY VINCENT, and RADIO BIRDMAN, which ELECTROPHONIC and SONIC GANG had in common, we've also incorporated the mutation-like evolution influenced by bands like PITCHFOLK and DRIVE LIKE JEHU. Furthermore, we've drawn inspiration from the American hardcore/alternative scenes, including WIPERS and HUSKER DU. All of these elements combine to define us as a contemporary and progressive PUNK ROCK band.
