GENEMAMembers: Ryotaro Terada (Key.), unknown (Vo./Ba.), unknown (Dr./Gt.)...? In December 2024, pianist, composer, and filmmaker Ryotaro Terada formed the band GENEMA. The band started with the concept of creating innovative and cosmopolitan dance music by not fixing its members. Inspired by Harry Styles, Flying Lotus, BLACKPINK, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, GENEMA's powerful yet delicate alternative sound features unforgettable melodies, raw and striking beats, and a deeply resonating low end that evokes an exhilarating sense of fear. Their music is stirring up excitement as it hints at the future of a new musical era. Their avant-garde music transcends genres, stirring a worldwide storm. Ryotaro Terada's Profile Since high school, Ryotaro Terada has been active as a jazz pianist, performing throughout Japan. January 2020: Held the Hokkaido Piano Tour. May 2021: Released the visual project "HA-MON", in collaboration with Tokyo-Buza. September 2021: Released his 1st album, "KYORAN", which fuses jazz with contemporary music. March 2022: Directed and produced the film "TOKYO RUSH?", starring Moody Katsuyama, available on Amazon Prime Video. In the film, Terada handled everything from directing and scriptwriting to editing on his own. December 2024: Released the 1st single "21.0 SEIKI" with GENEMA.
