*Half Moon Bay is a songwriter/production team of two dedicated artists, Katie Crowley and ken who keep traveling separately, sometimes in the country, sometimes in different parts of the globe. *Katie Crowley (lyrics and vocals) Born in Washington State, Katie loved to daydream, write poetry, and play in the lake near her home from an early age. She majored in Japanese and now works as an artist in Hokkaido, Japan. *ken (composition, arrangement, vocals, musical instruments, etc.) Born in Miyagi Prefecture and raised in Hokkaido. Has been a dedicated singer-songwriter, vocalist, pianist and multiple musical instrument player for more than 40 years mainly in Tokyo and Hokkaido areas. In addition to music, ken works as a photographer as well as an interpreter/facilitator for international cooperation projects in forest and biodiversity conservation, etc.
