The boy band was formed by the winner of the tv show ''THE IDOL BAND: BOY'S BATTLE'', which was projected by Japanese broadcast station TBS, Korean broadcast station SBS, and FNC ENTERTAINMENT. The group is called Hi-Fi Un!corn, which consists of one Japanese and four Koreans. Hi-Fi Un!corn means that they will spread high-quality music with ''pure passion'' as a unicorn representing the times.
