Ryo HorinouchiRyo Horinouchi was born October 26, 1988 and raised in Kagoshima City, Japan. His early life included frequent exposure to music and theatre performances, as well as time spent living abroad. At university, he studied art with a focus on stage production and literature. In 2018, he released his first instrumental album, Crystal line, under the artist name Ryo, while simultaneously working in film and theatre production in Tokyo. He subsequently relocated to Kagoshima and renovated his grandmother's rural house into a studio, from where he currently produces music and live performances. In November 2024, he released his first single, Hoshi Ga Umareru Basho, (English translation: Where Stars Are Born) as Ryo Horinouchi, and is currently at work on his next album.
