Through playing the saxophone as a student, she became aware that she was not the listener but the deliverer of music. She made her debut in 2012 with 'Graduation and Until Then Utou'. Since then, she has released numerous masterpieces reflecting her own personal growth. In 2019, they will successfully perform their first solo live at Shibuya WWW X. Her unique voice, flow and melodies are unforgettable once heard. And lyrics that try to face people and things as much as possible. The colours they weave together are close to people's lives and hearts, and are loved by many listeners beyond race, age, gender and nationality. The visuals created by painter and close friend Tomoko Oshima have become an indispensable element of Izumi Makura's work as a symbol.
