Kambyu Mami Born in Wakayama Prefecture. A talented singer with roots in R&B/POPS. Growing up listening to her father, who was a band member, play guitar and sing from an early age, she began her musical career in her teens. After moving to Tokyo, she was scouted and appeared on national TV shows as a singer, and later made her professional debut. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she performed 250 online live shows a year. While reminiscent of Japanese divas from the 00s, her husky, powerful voice and sophisticated flow are characteristic of her music, which is set to a modern club sound. She delivers messages that encourage women living in the modern age.
