Born in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, and currently residing in Ikebukuro. From an early age, she was influenced by all genres of music, especially jazz, and learned the electone. She entered a music college, but became attracted to stage lighting and moved to Shanghai to study further. After returning to Japan, she worked as a freelance lighting engineer, performing at various gigs. She is currently active in many other fields, including modeling and apparel production.
