Katsuhiko Katagiri. Flamenco guitarist. Born in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1966 (Registered address: Tokyo). He started playing the violin at an early age and later taught himself the guitar. He formed the rock group "A-JARI" when he was a junior high school student and made his major debut with Toshiba EMI. After learning jazz guitar, he studied folk music from around the world at Meiji University Akira Ebado Seminar. He also started playing flamenco guitar while still in school, and in 1988 He studied abroad in Spain for a short period of time. In 1998, He moved to Spain for a long time. Studied under Miguel Angel Cortés and others. Appeared in the local tablao ``Casa Patas'' and on Seville radio programs. After returning to Japan at the end of 2000, he collaborated with Cañizares (J-WAVE, LOVE-FM) and appeared on NHK-BS's ``In the Town with Music''.
