Nozomi Narumi

Born in Kushiro Town, Hokkaido in 1987. While in high school, developed an interest in jazz after listening to Ella Fitzgerald. Joined the Light Music Club, gravitating towards black music centered around neo-soul. Started working as a jazz vocalist from 2015, studying under Nobie, Sanae Ishikawa, and Yuka Sakai. Won the Yoyogi NARU Vocal Audition in 2020. Currently, primarily focuses on Brazilian music, pop, and jazz, while also composing and writing lyrics. Released the debut album "Weaving Landscapes" in November 2023, receiving praise for its sincere and transparent musical style.
