Sahara He is the head of the label newdubhall and is in charge of keyboards and programming for the dub duo Undefined. He began his activities in the early 2000s and joined the reggae band The Heavymanners, led by Dry & Heavy's Akimoto "heavy" Takeshi, as a keyboardist. After leaving the band in 2009, he formed the dub duo Undefined with drummer Ohkuma, and their first album, "Defined Riddim," released in 2022, was selected as the best disc of the year by genre in the British The Wire magazine columnist chart. In September of the same year, he released the collaborative album "2 Years / 2 Years in Silence" with Kodama Kazufumi. In addition to post-production, he was in charge of producing and arranging the ambient side of "2 Years in Silence" with Kodama Kazufumi. In August 2024, he digitally released his first solo work, "Whole Earth Dub."
