sphereFormed in 2007 by guitarist Makoto Gomi, the group took a break after releasing its third album in 2011, but resumed its activities in 2022 with the release of its fourth album after 11 years, featuring Shoko Inoue as a new vocalist.
Based on a shoegaze sound filled with guitars that combine delicacy and exuberance, the progressive rhythmic approach and nostalgic piano melodies that evoke Scandinavian electronica are intertwined with a meticulously calculated sound image, and the innocent breathy voice of Shoko is layered to create a lyrical soundscape.
