Yukiko Makino -Guitarist, Composer- One of the rare female guitarists not only in Japan but also in the world who can play both electric and acoustic guitars freely regardless of genre. Born in Suita City, Osaka She began studying classical piano at an early age and later began playing the guitar. She began her career as a guitarist performing background music in restaurants while still in high school. Graduated from CAT Music College High School. (Electric guitar course) She later entered Koyo Music Academy (Electric guitar course), where she studied electric guitar under Yuji Tsuchino and classical guitar under Makoto Nakagawa. She attracted attention as one of the few female guitarists who play mainly electric guitar, and has participated in live performances, supporting and recordings in all genres such as fusion, pops, and rock. Formed the organ trio "JC&C" in December 2018 and released their1st album "Precious". Released their 2nd album "COLORS" in April 2020 and "OUTBURST" in April 2021. She has been well received to make full of prominent live houses in Kansai. In 2021, as her new step, he started an acoustic line and formed the unit "LuLu", of which she is the leader. She formed the unit "LuLu" with Shinichi Hada (vln) and Kiyotaka Moriuchi (per). The trio began performing at live houses and other venues in the Kansai region with the main concept of "A day," an original suite of songs with a storyline. Also, from the period of this activity, she began to participate in monthly projected image events at a hall in Nara by Koichi Hozan, a filmmaker who worked on "World Heritage" and "Jounetsu Tairiku (Continent of Passion)". In 2022, she became the musical director of this event, collaborating with visual images and providing music and arrangements for various artists. In addition, around the same time, as part of a joint project with painter Mina Akagi, she released a duo mini-album with Keishiro Saito (contrabass) which was highly acclaimed by listeners and artists. This time, Yukiko Makino has released a full album "Air". Further success is expected.
