He started his career in 1992 as the singer of Electric Glass Balloon, and after Electric Glass Balloon disbanded in 1998, he worked as a DJ and solo artist under the name SUGIURUMN. He has released 9 albums, produced numerous singles and remixes, and played in DJ booths around the world, including Pacha in Ibiza and Sankys in Manchester, etc. In 2019, he will start his band again as THE ALEXX, bridging dance and rock in a single step. They have jumped onto the big stage with a style that bridges dance and rock. He also produced the soundtrack for fashion designer Takahiro Miyashita's TAKAHIRO MIYASHITA The Soloist. collection. In 2023, SUGIURUMN produced its first song with Japanese lyrics in order to transmit music that transcends categories. The project, which has been released since last September, will finally be released as an album this August.
