S.E.N.S.
In 1988, they produced the music for the NHK special "The Silk Road of the Sea." The following year, the film "A City of Sadness," set to S.E.N.S.'s music, won the Grand Prix at the Venice International Film Festival. In 2008, they were in charge of the opening theme for the unveiling ceremony of the Beijing Olympic symbol mark. Their albums have also been released in Europe and Asia, and S.E.N.S.'s music, which transcends language barriers, has created a great response all over the world. In Japan, they are a top instrumental music artist, having won the Japan Gold Disc Award for Instrumental Album of the Year twice. They have released 45 albums, and continue to release popular works.
