DJ EMMA, whose real name is Emma Matsuki, was born in Lyon. She was born to a Japanese father and a French mother and spent her childhood in Lyon. Her interest in music began in her teens, when she was mainly influenced by house and electro music. She then began working as a DJ in Lyon and Paris, France, where she developed her own style of music.
