Mikoto, the Kotodama Storyteller Born in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, Mikoto grew up sensing the spirit of words, or "kotodama," inspired by the lush natural beauty of Karatsu, which supported them through a difficult childhood. Known for their powerful, robust voice and diverse language, they are often called a "kotodama performer," primarily performing in the Kanto area with guitar and vocals. Drawing from an original guitar tuning and skilled improvisation, Mikoto crafts a unique world in each live performance.
