toto Poet, lyricist, narrator Born in Tokyo's Ota Ward Grew up between the Ikegami Line and the Tama River Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Spatial Design, Faculty of Spatial Design A poet of words who tries to connect to all things in the forest with her innate voice that embraces all things. From the age of 19, she has been on the road again and again. She followed the French circus ZINGARO to France. In New York, she repeatedly interviewed people around town with a recorder hanging from her neck and created a zine. She became fascinated with people, towns, movies, and the circus. After returning from a long trip, she participated in SSWS (Shinjuku Spoken Words Slam) and started playing in a hip-hop band "SUIKA", releasing 5 albums, and was strongly attracted to the fun of improvisation while continuing the famous event "Watermelon Night Talk" organized by SUIKA. She has released five albums with the hip-hop band "SUIKA," as well as "watowa" as a solo work, and "Window Light" under the names of toto and GOMESS. She has met many rappers and participated in their works. In recent years, she has been performing improvised live shows in which she finds the beginning of a story in everyday life with various performers and opens the door with the audience. She also narrates commercials, recites plays, performs picture-story shows, and conducts workshops for children and adults to create a comfortable space in their hearts using words.
