GOOD BYE APRILFormed in Tokyo in 2011. GOOD BYE APRIL is a genuine 'AOR' band that goes far beyond 'trendy city pop', with songs that cross over Western and Japanese 80's sounds with new music in their blood, and a voice that combines sadness and freshness with an overflowing sense of nostalgia. The band is a neo-new music band with an appealing voice and a sense of nostalgia. In spring 2023, the band made their major label debut on Nippon Crown PANAM (a prestigious Japanese new music label that produced Tin Pan Alley, formed by Haruomi Hosono, Shigeru Suzuki, Tateo Hayashi and Masataka Matsutoya, as well as Taeko Onuki and Moonriders). Three singles have been released so far, including the debut track 'BRAND NEW MEMORY', produced by city pop maestro Tetsuji Hayashi. They has also participated in a tribute album to Tetsuji Hayashi's 50th anniversary, and has performed with EPO, the queen of city pop, and Kimmokusei, a pioneer in the scene with a history of appearances in Kohaku (red and white) Utagassen.
