HANAMURA Yokan

HANAMURA Yokan (ten-hole diatonic harmonica, composer) Born in Osaka in 1972. He has been playing various musical instruments since childhood. Since the age of 20, he has devoted himself to the ten-hole diatonic harmonica and has participated in numerous music events, plays, rakugo, and video productions. He reinterprets ten-hole diatonic harmonica playing techniques from a unique perspective, and plays themes that everyone can relate to, without being tied to old school. Since 2010, he has been working on expanding the possibilities of the diatonic harmonica using the "multi-stacking playing method" that he developed.
