Utagokoro RieIn 1995, her single "200 Times Dream" became a huge hit as a commercial song for Pocari Sweat.
In 2004, she became the vocalist for the unit "September," which combined classical and pop music. She attracted attention by releasing "Winter Sonata ~From the Beginning to Now~," an official cover song of the Korean drama Winter Sonata. Her 2012 release "Anone~Aoi no Umbrella~" attracted attention when it was aired on NHK's "Minna no Uta," and she has been active in impersonation and singing variety shows, as well as live performances at events nationwide.
